You may already know that a visit the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower in the Lake of Bays area is an annual Fall tradition. Making the 465 ft climb to the observation deck is worth the effort when Muskoka’s renowned red, orange and yellow foliage stretches as far as the eye can see.

But did you know also know this autumnal hot spot has a lovely picnic area and a designated trail?  Measuring just over 2km in length, the route takes about an hour to complete, and let’s you experience the canopy of colour above you in a whole new way.

All this combined makes a visit to the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower an absolute must this Fall: you won’t be disappointed!
